BACONE COLLEGE
Bacone College, formerly The Indian University, was founded in 1880 to educate American Indian Students. Today, Bacone College is transforming into a tribal college.
At the height of Indian Removal, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation donated land to the American Baptist Church and namely the American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) to establish Bacone College.
For 140 years, students and graduates have assumed leadership positions in communities, tribes, states, churches, and the federal government.
CONNORS STATE COLLEGE
Connors State College has a long history of providing the people of eastern Oklahoma with access to higher education. Since seating its first class of 17 students in 1908, the institution has grown into a comprehensive, multi-campus, two-year college that enrolls more than 3,000 students annually.
Whether you are looking for a traditional college experience or one that allows you to earn a degree on your own time, our two campuses offer the best of both worlds. The Warner Campus houses our traditional students, athletics, and agricultural programs and is the virtual hub of all operations.
